Daniel is an experienced backend engineer with over nine years building distributed payment platforms in Python and Go. He led the rewrite of a core ledger service from Django to Go, reducing p99 latency from 480ms to 62ms, and holds on-call responsibility as one of four senior engineers.

He is seeking a senior individual contributor role where he can own a service end to end and mentor mid-level engineers.

How it works

Three steps, and your consultant is back on the phone.

Before a CV reaches a client someone spends about 20 minutes restyling it. Every candidate, every time. This is that job.

01

Upload the candidate CV

Drop it in exactly as you received it — Word or PDF, in whatever layout it arrived.

.DOCX · .PDF · up to 10 MB
02

ReProfile reformats it

Your section order, your formatting and your branded cover page, applied to the candidate’s own words.

The ReProfile New CV screen: a candidate CV received on the left, template and cover details on the right.

The screen a consultant actually uses. One page, no wizard.

The key difference

The candidate’s words. Word for word.

ReProfile reformats — it does not rewrite. Unlike AI writing tools it is built to preserve the candidate’s content exactly: no paraphrasing, no embellishing, no “tailoring”. What the candidate wrote is what lands in your template. The AI handles the layout, never the writing.

Built by a recruiter

It does what a recruiter needs, because a recruiter built it.

ReProfile was built by Matthew Cameron, a senior recruitment consultant who spent years reformatting candidate CVs by hand — and trying every tool that promised to fix it. Generic document tools broke the formatting. AI tools rewrote the candidate’s words. Nothing produced a submission he would actually send to a client. So he built the tool that does: the candidate’s words, verbatim, in the agency’s template.

Your candidates’ CVs are never mine to keep.

CVs are processed in memory and the finished document is cleared from active storage within 20 minutes. There is no database of candidate CV content, and no admin screen where it can be browsed.

How we handle data →

Candidate CVs are never yours to lose, or ours to keep.

Read about security →

Processed in memory

CV content is processed in memory. The finished document is held briefly for download, then deleted within 20 minutes.

Records, not CVs

We keep operational records — who ran a reformat, when, whether it succeeded — plus any cover-page details a consultant enters.

Australian hosting

Account data, operational records and the reformatted document are stored in Australia. CV content is sent to our AI provider in the United States.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Candidate data is encrypted on the way in, on the way out, and wherever it briefly rests.

AI provider handling

Data sent to our AI provider is not used to train models by default and is ordinarily deleted under its commercial terms within 30 days.

Dedicated infrastructure

Operated on infrastructure dedicated to ReProfile, separate from any other product.

Questions, answered.

How does a reformat work?

You upload the CV, pick your template, and ReProfile places the candidate’s existing content into it. Nothing is rewritten.

What happens when a section is missing?

ReProfile looks for matching content elsewhere in the CV. If there is none, it leaves the section out rather than inventing anything.

What about the consultant overview on the cover page?

It is the one thing ReProfile ever writes — a short introduction generated only when the consultant ticks “Include a consultant summary” on a reformat, clearly marked for review. Everything else is the candidate’s words, verbatim.

What file types can I upload?

Candidate CVs as Word (.docx) or PDF, in whatever layout they arrived. You download the finished submission as a Word document, ready to send.

How do you configure my template?

During onboarding we set up your template for you — cover page, branding, section order and formatting — usually within 24 hours. After that, it is entirely self-serve.

Get started

Give your consultants their afternoons back.

See ReProfile run on one of your own templates. Bring a CV you would normally reformat by hand, and we will do it live.
