ReProfile reformats — it does not rewrite. Unlike AI writing tools it is built to preserve the candidate’s content exactly: no paraphrasing, no embellishing, no “tailoring”. What the candidate wrote is what lands in your template. The AI handles the layout, never the writing.

ReProfile was built by Matthew Cameron, a senior recruitment consultant who spent years reformatting candidate CVs by hand — and trying every tool that promised to fix it. Generic document tools broke the formatting. AI tools rewrote the candidate’s words. Nothing produced a submission he would actually send to a client. So he built the tool that does: the candidate’s words, verbatim, in the agency’s template.
CVs are processed in memory and the finished document is cleared from active storage within 20 minutes. There is no database of candidate CV content, and no admin screen where it can be browsed.

How does a reformat work?
You upload the CV, pick your template, and ReProfile places the candidate’s existing content into it. Nothing is rewritten.
What happens when a section is missing?
ReProfile looks for matching content elsewhere in the CV. If there is none, it leaves the section out rather than inventing anything.
What about the consultant overview on the cover page?
It is the one thing ReProfile ever writes — a short introduction generated only when the consultant ticks “Include a consultant summary” on a reformat, clearly marked for review. Everything else is the candidate’s words, verbatim.
What file types can I upload?
Candidate CVs as Word (.docx) or PDF, in whatever layout they arrived. You download the finished submission as a Word document, ready to send.
How do you configure my template?
During onboarding we set up your template for you — cover page, branding, section order and formatting — usually within 24 hours. After that, it is entirely self-serve.
